The country’s largest single malt distillery, Pokeno sits in a humid valley surrounded by volcanic hills, crafting creative single malts that reflect the culture and climate of Aotearoa New Zealand. Their long fermentations, slow distillations and rapid maturation make for exceptionally fruity and sweet single malts.

A tour of the distillery is a must – you’ll see everything that goes into making a dram of Pokeno, and finish with a couple of tastings, before picking out any bottles you’d like for your shelf. And if you want something really special, try the Founders Tour – a private run-through with distillery founder Matt himself.
